IP Datacom Engineer
Vienna, Austria
Main Responsibilities:
- Technical support for IP datacom equipment - covers IP, MPLS, etc.
- Technical support for projects - project preparation, pre-sales technical support, solution development, solution testing with customers, project delivery with a delivery team, such as HLD/LLD, cutover, migration, routine network operational upgrades;
- Provide technical support service to the Carrier and Enterprise customers
- Support our customers from any technical perspective, maintain the good relationship with customer, be responsible for customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of IP networking principles, including routers, switches, and related protocols: ARP, STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS
- Hands-on experience with Huawei equipment: NE, ATN, PTN routers and switches, serial communication equipment
- Certifications and Technical Skills (Preferred but not mandatory): Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP), Unix/Linux scripting (bash, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of Campus Network design and SD-WAN technologies is an advantage.
- Experience Level: Minimum 3 years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields
