Job Title: Procurement Engineer
Job Location: Prague
Responsibilities:
As a General Procurement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting internal business units with procurement activities, including marketing events, media buying, consulting services, labor leasing, and other business categories. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes to meet internal demand.
- Receive procurement requests, communicate and clarify requirements
- Analyze and assess the reasonableness, legality, and feasibility of the requirements
- Develop and implement procurement project selection strategies
- Evaluate and clarify supplier qualification requirements
- Lead the process of evaluating suppliers' minimum qualifications, conducting on-site surveys, signing agreements, and reporting on qualification
- Publish qualified suppliers in the company’s internal system
- Regularly organize internal team evaluations of supplier performance
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers
- Facilitate high-level interaction and relationship improvement between the company and suppliers
- Conduct routine training on honesty and integrity for suppliers
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of business processes related to procurement, marketing, and labor leasing
- Familiarity with ERP systems or other IT tools
- Basic understanding of business etiquette
- Knowledge of project relationship management
- Strong execution ability, drive, and result-oriented approach
- Excellent cross-functional coordination and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Czech and English language
- Minimum around 2 years of experience
