Job Title: Transmission Network Engineer

Job Location: Prague

Main Responsibilities:

• Technical support for transport networks, including optical WDM, Microwave transport, L2 Ethernet transport networks

• New project design preparation, pre-sales technical support, service solution development and testing with Carrier and Enterprise customers, project delivery with a delivery team

• Provide technical support service to the Carrier and Enterprise customers independently or together with a support L2/3 team

• Support our customers from any technical perspective, maintain the good relationship with customer, be responsible for customer satisfaction

• Delivery trainings to customers on Huawei equipment knowledge and troubleshooting techniques

• Permanent professional improvement and trainings

Requirements:

• Candidate should have Bachelor Degree or above in Telecommunications/IT, or more than 3 years of experience in IT/Telecom area

• Knowledge of Optical Transport technology – WDM, OTN, ROADM

• Knowledge of Microwave Transport technology is an advantage

• Fundamental knowledge of IP technology principles - Routers, Switches and related protocols (ARP, STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, etc.)

• Be able to work independently, be self-motivated and willing to learn

• Experience with Huawei WDM equipment, Huawei certificate, Cisco certification, knowledge of scripting (bash, python etc.) is an advantage

• Contract to be signed in Czech, place of work Prague, travel to other countries in Central Europe region possible
