Vehicle Driver
Austria, Vienna
Main Responsibilities:
Transportation: Safely drive the company’s designated pool car for leadership/employee, primarily for client visits, business meetings, and airport transfers.
Punctuality & Routing: Plan the most time-efficient and traffic-avoidant routes in advance; monitor real-time traffic conditions to ensure on-time arrivals.
Vehicle Management: 1)Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and serviced at all times. 2)Perform daily checks (tires, lights, fluid levels) to ensure operational safety. 3)Log mileage and maintain a compliant trip logbook as required by Austrian tax law, especially to distinguish business from private use.
Client-Facing Demeanor: Greet clients (if picking them up) and executives professionally; assist with luggage, briefcases, or packages as needed.
Discretion & Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all executive and client conversations, destinations, and schedules observed during trips.
Compliance: Adhere to all Austrian traffic regulations (StVO), rest period rules (Lenk- und Ruhezeiten), and any internal company policies regarding vehicle use.
Requirements:
Valid Austrian/EU driver’s license (Class B or above).
Minimum [2-3] years of professional driving experience, preferably as a company driver, chauffeur, or in a similar transport role.
Clean driving record (no major violations or points in the past 3 years) – a "Strafregisterbescheinigung" extract for traffic offenses may be required.
Excellent knowledge of Vienna and surrounding region; familiarity with GPS navigation and traffic apps (e.g., Waze, Google Maps, ÖAMTC traffic info).
Fluent In German and English
High level of personal presentation (clean, professional attire).
Punctuality and reliability above all else.
Calm under pressure (traffic jams, schedule changes).
Polite, respectful, and service-oriented.
Ability to work flexibly – occasional early mornings or late evenings for client dinners/events.
